We Are
The Cool Career is the ultimate career guide that inspires girls to follow their dreams, make radical decisions, and leave a positive, but disruptive impact on the world around them. We do this by interviewing empowering women, who live purposeful, fearless lives. With a no BS approach, we extract their career story, advice and knowledge, and package it up into compelling content (Live Events, Online Products, Digital Content, + collaborations) – to inspire the next generation of strong women.
Founder and Director (Official Bio)
Kura Antonello is the Founder and Director of the The Cool Career, Australia’s premier provider of career networking events, information for Gen Z and Y girls. The Cool Career is a company that supports girls at the education level, and Kura leads a team obsessed with reinventing career advice and the method of delivery in Australia.
The Cool Career has revolutionised the way girls and education providers seek career inspiration and connection.
We believe that the statement “If you can see her, you can be her” – we aim to connect girls with women living and breathing incredible careers. We do this through interviews and storytelling, compelling content, events built to rewire and connect, and a schools program that supports the education system.
As Founder and Director, Kura is responsible for working closely with educational providers at a secondary and tertiary level, external partners, sponsors and big business to create more shared value projects and operate a business with a purpose beyond profit. In 2018, the company will be committing to launch a digital product that will help girls in high school identify their own personal brand, and why that’s important when seeking new age careers.

We Do
We have built and continue to grow an engaged online community of fearless females. Girls who aren’t afraid to buck the status quo. Girls who focus on their studies and try their hardest, always. Girls who are prepared to take risks and understand that they have the power to control their own career destiny.
Online Community
Our online community is predominantly made up of female students from Year 9 through to first year University (15 – 20). Our Core demographic are those girls studying Year 10, Year 11 and 12. Our content is empowering, inspiring and above all, career focused. Once you have attended an event, you are part of our private online support community for life.
Collaborations
Careers are a true collaboration between student and brand, and as such, we have mapped out a program of cool collaborations for the remainder of 2018 and beyond. We are open to brand collaborations with relevant, engaged parties, that are heart centred and care more about people then their bottom dollar. In the past 5 months we have worked with the cool kids at frankie Magazine, and thankyou, Lululemon to name a few.
Live Events
Our events are the first ‘girl focused’ career networking type in Australia. They were created to compliment the online program and already are a big hit, created to take our career focused discussions off line and into the real world. Our mission is to take the dated Career Expo concept and turn it into a totally new, inspiring format that Gen Z actually want to attend, and parents want to take their kids to.
Imagine a world were girls are able to network and talk (1:1) to their #careercrush or the CEO of a company and find out what they are looking for from a potential employee? These events are a chance for students to network, ask questions and learn from women live. These events are also sponsored by relevant brands. creating a truly immerse environment for the student.
Who can book?
Our events can be booked privately by high schools, university, tafe or private college groups. Our customised sessions can also be booked by community or youth groups.
Format
Our events can be customised by you, the provider. Our most popular event type is our 1 hour intensive. Please contact The Cool Career School Sessions team using the form below (or directly at schools@thecoolcareer.com) for more information, prices and inclusions.
